​Cosmetology to Esthetics Crossover Program

Over the years, we’ve worked alongside countless licensed cosmetologists who wanted to offer facials and skincare services — but didn’t feel fully prepared to do so with confidence.
​
While cosmetology education provides a strong foundation, facial training is often limited by time, scope, or repetition. Many professionals graduate licensed, yet still unsure how to analyze skin, build a facial protocol, or confidently perform advanced treatments in a real spa setting.

We created the Cosmetology to Esthetics Crossover Program to address that gap.
This program is not about starting over or returning to full-time school. It is designed to support licensed cosmetologists with focused, hands-on education that builds real skill, professional confidence, and practical understanding of skincare.

About the Founder: Sandy Nelles

Sandy Nelles is a spa co-founder, esthetics educator, and skincare product founder with over 17 years of professional experience in the beauty and wellness industry. Sandy and her husband Scott have built and sold multiple successful spa concepts, including Mod Facial in Texas and Skinkind on Newbury Street in Boston, and has developed three skincare brands: One Society Skincare, Blue Origin Skincare, and Orska Rituals.

In addition to her esthetics background, Sandy also studied massage therapy and brings a holistic yet results-driven philosophy to education and treatment design. Over the past decade, she has personally trained more than 100 estheticians and cosmetologists across the U.S., helping professionals elevate their technique, develop advanced treatment skills, and grow career confidence.

A resident of Frisco, Texas and mother of three, Sandy founded the facial school to raise the standard of esthetics and massage therapy training through real, hands-on learning led by experienced professionals not corporate systems. Her mission is to help students master their craft and create meaningful, prosperous careers in the industry. At Orska, We recruit and employee top notch industry professionals with years of experience and expertise to teach our esthetics bridge program and advanced esthetics and massage therapy courses.
